Trail Dust Saddle Club events last week end.

As you know if you read our Blogs the crazyhorseindustries.net family love our horses and doing a lot of gaming.

Last week end we spent the day with the Trail Dust Saddle Club doing our monthly gymkhana.  It was a long day, but it went very well. My daughter rode her young quarter horse filly and did a great job.

She won reserve in the B division.  My young granddaughter rode her Arabian gelding and won reserve in the A division for the PeeWee class. 

We had lots of help and lots of fun.  I rode my Quarter Horse filly and did pretty good.  We did much better than we have been.  Her Mom has been my horse for many years, but her hocks are sore and she had hurt her right front leg, which I don’t trust happening again.  So I am forcing myself to ride her daughter which even tho she is a great gal, its just hard to get used to another horse that rides so completely different.

Our last game for the season is this next Saturday.  Weather permitting it should be a great day as well.

Here at Crazyhorseindustries.net we love to ride and ride to live.  We are a family of horseback riders that participate in the gaming events, showing and trail rides. Here are a few pictures of our days on horseback.

We just had a wonderful play day with the Jackson County Horseman’s Assoc.  We had 5 events to participate in. Key race, single stake race, bi rangle, Texas barrels and speed barrels.

As President of the club it is a busy day.  I did the announcing as well as rode my filly.  My daughter and granddaughter helped with the set up of each event, trail bossing, holding horses and getting mine in the gate.

It was partly rainy, but the sun came out and ended up a very nice day.  All the participants had a great time, loved the events.  Many of these riders only do trail riding and it’s a “big deal” for them to be in an arena and run or trot around the obstacles.  They really enjoy the change and there is a lot of cheering each other on.
